Talking Dictionary250. Yellow Notes On The TV Set

Repeat

250. She looked at the TV. Square, yellow notes were taped to it. She looked at the notes. One said, "Take her out regularly." Another said, "Listen to her." Another said, "Don't argue with her." Another said, "Support her." Another said, "Help her without being asked." She looked at him. He was sitting at his desk. "What are all these notes for?" she asked. "They're reminders," he said. "I can't look at the TV without seeing the notes. I read the notes during the commercials sometimes. They remind me of what I'm supposed to do." She tore all the notes off the TV. She threw them in the trash. "Hey! What are you doing?" he asked. She said, "You need notes? You need to post notes on the TV? You shouldn't have to remind yourself of these sentiments. They should be a part of you. They should be in your heart!" 1.1
